| Further Information | Black and white photograph showing gantry crane used for transporting pier stone blocks. Maker : Stottart & Pitt 1951. The original crane here was of wooden construction, with a large wooden shed adjacent (now demolished) where rough stone, quarried at Trow Rocks, was dressed for pier blocks. These are now of pre-cast concrete. |
