Further Information | After heavy rain the West Park lake, previously known as the 'Duck Pond', flooded. The houses on the left are the terrace in Stanhope Road opposite the West Park. On the right can be seen Brinkburn Farm and outbuildings. The lake has been filled in and part is West Way and part has been built on. The area by the farm has been occupied by a garage, the Salvation Army Citadel and a Nursery school. |
