| Further Information | Cleadon Waterworks and Tower on Cleadon Hill. 1855 the water company purchased 4 acres of land on Cleadon Hills. By 1864 the new Cleadon well yielded 250,000 gallons per day. Today's water comes from Kielder dam. |
