| Further Information | The Royal Daylight Anglo American Oil Company delivery cart outside of the Willie Wouldhave Inn in Ferry Street, South Shields. The Anglo American Oil Company was established in Britain in 1888 and became Esso in the UK in 1934. The oil in the tank was paraffin oil for lamps. This postcard is badly damaged and has been repaired with sellotape. |
