| Further Information | At 21.40 hours on the 30th of September indiscriminate bombing occured when two 1,000kg bombs fell in the Westoe area. One fell in the middle of the road at the Grosvenor Road end of Eastfield Road, destroying six houses and killing an ARP Warden. This photograph shows damage to properties in Eastfield Road. |
