| Further Information | Bert Wilkinson, second back row, fourth from the left. His father was in Harton Colliery Band when they won the Silver Medal. John Wilkinson was a full time musician and came from Barnard Castle. The Headquarters for the Home Guards was in Collingwood Street Drill Hall. Dances and Socials were held there to raise funds. |
