| Further Information | Eight tugs hauled the two halves of the 46,000 tons bulk carrier to the Tyne 09/02/1967. Builders Austin & Pickersgill, Sunderland. By building the ship in two halves between 10 and 12 weeks had been saved on the construction time. Two part ship joined together in dry dock at Palmers, Hebburn. |
