| Further Information | The 72ft long diesel tug Dorothy being swung aboard the cargo liner Benstac in Jarrow Slake by the floating crane Titan II. The tug was bound for Hong Kong where she went into service for the Ministry of Defence. the Dorothy was built by Richard Dunston Ltd. at Thorne near Doncaster and made her way to the Tyne under her own power. |
