| Further Information | Readhead's Shipyard, West HolbornĀ is on the left. In centre of the photograph there is a clock tower at the junction of Commercial Road. The clock was removed in 1954 despite the fact if was well known for its time-keeping accuracy. The three wheel vehicle with trailer on the right of the photograph is a Scammell Scarab, used by British Rail, which were produced between 1948 and 1967 |
