Further Information | Ship fitting out at R.and W. Hawthorne, Leslie and Co. Possibly the "Bartolomew Dias", the second sloop of the "aviso de primeira" class for the Portuguese navy. The "Bartolomew Dias" is distinquishable from it's sister-ship the "Afonso De Albuquerque" also built at Hebburn, by the white band on her funnel. |
