| Further Information | The American 5,189 ton oil tanker "Gulflight" showing torpedo damage to starboard bow. The ship was torpedoed by German submarine U30 in May 1915. Along with the later sinking of the Lusitania, this was one of the incidents that brought the US into the First World War. |
