Further Information | Constructed in 1923 the overall length 176 7'', breath 36', depth 13'. A non propelling centre ladder barge, loading bucket: capable of cutting its own flotation and dredging to a maximum depth of 57' below the water line, and of raising from this depth 800 tons of sand, gravel or silt per hour. The dredger was also specially designed for working close alongside quays, wharves, etc.and for working on rock when required. |
