Further Information | The Queen of Bermuda coming into the Tyne. She was built in 1933. In 1939 she was requisitioned for war service and had one of her three funnels removed. In 1947 she was overhauled and the funnel was reinstated. In 1961-62 she was lengthened and modified with just one modern funnel amidships giving her the distinction of being the only liner to have sailed with one, two of three funnels. |
