Further Information | Black and white photograph of Trinity Tower, North Marine Park, erected in 1810 by Master and Brethren of Trinity House, Newcastle, as a watch tower for Pilots. Purchased by South Shields Council in 1895. In later years it became the home of the Radar Training Dept. of South Shields Marine and Technical College. During World War two it was used by the military. |
