| Further Information | Two replica Napoleonic War Cannons - originally two cannons stood on what is now the landscaped roundabout at the top of Lawe Road until the last war, when they were dismantled for armaments manufacture. The North Shields Lifeboat station is visible in the centre of the picture, above the right hand cannon. The Fish Quay can be seen to the left. |
