| Further Information | This view of the River Tyne is taken from near the bridge on River Drive. In the foreground is the cross river ferry landing with two ferries alongside. On the right, across the river is the International Quay, where the larger ferries load to go to Norway and other areas across the North Sea. The Albert Edward Dock is at the right of the picture. Behind these building can be seen the holding area for Nissan Cars awaiting loading and exporting all around the world. On the left is Tyne Dock river front. |
