| Further Information | Photograph of the wedding of Catherine Freeman, aged 21 years, and Albert Wilkinson. Margaret Freeman was Bridesmaid. The best man, left, got a ship after the wedding at the pool, South Shields. Albert tried to get the same ship but failed. The ship was blown up by a torpedo as it went outside Shields piers. All hands were lost. |
