| Further Information | Muhammad Ali at the front of the open top bus greeting local people, visitors and children as the bus goes round the Market Place in South Shields on its way to Gypsies Green Stadium. The parade was known as the Parade of Champions and also on the bus were boxers from the past to present day. |
