| Further Information | Black and white photograph showing the Mayor of South Tyneside, Councillior Danny Maidment shows TV Science presenter (and local girl) Judith Hann one of the working models in a "Discovery Dome Exhibition" in Bents Park. The Dome had travelled from Glasgow on its trip around Britain and is intended to interest schoolchildren in particular in science with its "hands on" approach. 1 July 1988. |
