| Further Information | Alterations to front entrance of the Scala Theatre dated 10 August 1938. Wiggs record shop on the left, Newspaper shop on right has news of WW 11 and the race results. Wiggs music shop was the entrance to the Scala - note the arched window on the first floor of the building being modified is next door - later to become the site of Leveys decorating shop. This is supported by other images of The Scala entrance. |
