| Further Information | The gasometer at the corner of Garden Lane and Oyston Street. The grassed area behind is the site of St Hilda Pit. You can still see the winding house. The tower in the centre is the training tower for the Fire Service. This site is now home to Next, Debenhams, River Island and the former BHS. |
