| Further Information | Prior to beginning the excavation for the new Metro station at Chichester the statue of Queen Victoria, that had stood there for years, was to be moved to outside the Town Hall. It was carefully wrapped and a crane used to lift it onto transport prior to being re-erected in Westoe Road. |
