Further Information | The old "Adam and Eve" public house in Laygate in the 1860's. John I'anson was the landlord. The new "Adam and Eve", probably erected late 1800's, was erected on the corner of Frederick Street and Laygate Lane. The Palace Cinema was built on the old site. |
