| Further Information | The old and new Wheatsheaf Hotel on the corner of Smithy Street and Fowler Street. The old Wheatsheaf was demolished in 1901 to accommodate the widening of Fowler Street. The new Wheatsheaf met a similar fate when it to was demolished to enable the Keppel Street dual carriageway to be built. |
