| Further Information | Whitburn Parish Church. Originally built in 13th century. In the 15th century the upper stage of the tower was substantially built with the windows being refurbished in the 19th century. Unusual as this church was not designated to a particular saint, it could have been St. Mary or St. Andrew, but the original designation is unknown. |
