| Further Information | The railings to the left are part of Jubilee Stairs and the row of cottages on the right were known as Lawson's Cottages and backed onto Lawson's brickyard (disused). Heught Street Mission was built in 1789 by Presbyterian's, enlarged and rebuilt in 1795, later acquired by the Pimitive Methodists. Demolished in 1937 slum clearances. |
