| Further Information | The Congregational Church which stood at the junction of Ocean Road and James Mather Street. The foundation stone was laid by Mrs J C Stevenson, April 29th, 1884. The church was opened on December 9th 1884 by Dr Bevan. The square tower on the east side was 90 ft high. Demolished in 1994. |
