| Further Information | The "Olde House" Whiburn Village, originally called Whitburn House. Built in the 18th century, with its back to the road and the front facing south overlooking its gardens. For some reason in 1928 a house on the opposite side of the road took the name Whitburn House so this house took the name Old Whitburn House before being simply called "The Olde House". |
