| Further Information | The Olde House, Whitburn Village, situated in Front Street., originally called Whiburn House. built in the 18th century with its back to the road and its front facing south overlooking its gardens. for some reason in 1928 a house built on the oppsite of the road took the name whibrn House. So this house took the name Old Whiburn House,before settling on the simpler name "Ye Olde House". |
