| Further Information | Here is the Station Hotel on the corner of Mile End Road and Alderson Street. The brick pillars in the foreground denote the entrance to South Shields railway station. Station Hotel was demolished and rebuilt to form Idols Bar. This was then refurbished as The Wouldhave which is part of JD Wetherspoons. |
