| Further Information | This photograph shows the Midland Bank building which stands on the corner of Denmark Street and Fowler Street. The buildings around it were demolished to make way for the new Denmark Centre. The picture was taken from Keppel Street, opposite the bank, and shows S. Lamb's shop that sold prams and other baby items. The Central Library is visible in the background between the gap. |
