| Further Information | The last arch standing at the Tyne Dock. The photograph was taken prior to the demolition of the last of the Tyne Dock arches. The gents toilet on the left was also demolished. Following the demolition of the arches a dual carriageway was built to improve vehicular access to and from South Shields. Photograph by H Brown |
