Further Information | Group photograph of the Queen's Theatre staff outside the theatre in Mile End Road at the celebrations for the seventh anniversary of the Theatre. The theatre's musical director, Mr James Todd, is second from the left, with the straw boater and holding his pipe. In front seated centre are JG (Jack) Thompson (owner) and Mr S Dring (general manager) - the rest were employees of the theatre and their families. The billboard in the photo advertises Elsie Ferguson's film "The Witness for the Defence" showing from Monday 16th August 1920. |
