| Further Information | Coverdale's Quay was on the riverside at the back of Shadwell Street. Coverdale's House was built in 1540 and is included in this group of houses. Various women and children can be seen standing behind plank fencing overlooking the river. To the lef,t steps can be seen descending, along with a wooden derrick. |
